Sunday Styles: Prints and Patterns! I love Textiles

I love textile design, in fact before I became pregnant with Claire I was contemplating going back to school for it! Patterns and rich colors make me swoon, what about you?

Sunday Styles: Kawaii Christmas Fun!

J'adore Kawaii! Some of you may be wondering what the hell Kawaii is...the term was first popularized in Japan in the 70's (kawaisa 可愛さ^?) and literally translates to mean loveable, cute or adorable (think Hello Kitty). In my house it means "LOOK AT THAT TEENY TINY BIG EYED AWESOME SILLY CUE THING! I have to have it!!!!!"

One year I would love to have a whole tree with nothing but fun Japanese decorations and silly things hanging on it...sort of like this:

Sunday Styles: Retro Christmas Chique

Now that I have a daughter I have never been more excited about Christmas! I find myself thinking back to some of the Christmases from  my childhood, which really were very retro cool! My grandparents were very much stuck in the 1950's and had the coolest old decorations.To this day retro looking holiday decor always makes me think fondly of time spent with them. Here are some favorites of mine

Sunday Styles: Baby Bootie Bounty

Claire inherited a very special gift recently, her Daddies Christening booties! They are so precious and sweet, we are saving them for a very special occasion. I am now obsessed with cute little bitty shoes! I love them! I have never been a "shoe girl" you know the type, that can't walk past a shoe sale without going into hysterics? But now that I have Claire, I have baby bootie insanity!
