Sometimes I stumble across something so simple that it is breathtakingly beautiful and stirs my soul. This video, ohhhhh friends, this video is a postcard of love and beauty and truth and simplicity and family and childhood and innocence and raw emotions........I could go on and on but instead lets just watch it together shall we?

Tuesdays Tunes: Foster The People
The hub introduced me to this group and they are just too good to not share! The first track "pumped up kicks" in particular is close to my heart...we sing it to Claire when she is having her diaper free kick time on her change table :)
The second track makes me think of a mesh of Bladerunner and Tank Girl meets Lord of the Flies....its a pretty neat video!

My Appologies
Dear Darling Readers,
To those of you who are not mom's, mommy bloggers, pregnant, or into baby stuff...I apologize. I do not want you to think that this blog will be going the way of boobies, diapers, and babies for ever and ever. It is just that right now my whole world revolves around this precious bundle of love and joy named Claire. I am slowly coming out of my post-birth trauma, getting to know Claire better, and setting up a solid nap/feed routine. The crafts and such will return, I am going through creative withdrawal! Along with Motherhood Monday's I will continue to post Thankful Thursday and Sunday Styles for you all to enjoy. I have some plans for crafty projects and starting next month may even be in a craft fair or two!
Thank you for all of your love, support and patience. I worked so hard to get this little blog to be what it is today, it is a baby of mine too! So to those of you tired of hearing about baby madness, I thank you for sticking around and supporting me. Every morning I wake up and read your comments and they honesty make my day! I love each and every one.
So on the note of returning the blog to "regular scheduled programing" here is a sneak peak of a craft project I plan to start working on this week:
Peace, love and pickles

And since it is Tuesday and all here is a Tuesday Tune for old times sake! Ironic that this is an apology post and this song has been stuck in my head all day long! Claire and I rocked out to it during our morning breastfeeding session:
Peace, love and pickles

Tuneless Tuesday :P
Yup you read right. Tuneless. I am literally to tired to think of a fun new song to post for you. I am officially that pregnant. Today I am feeling tired, cranky, achey, and have some bruises from how hard this kid is kicking. So no music today, instead here is a picture of my slowly shrinking feet:

Tuesdays Tune: Ryans Pick
I let the hubz pick todays tune, and he felt that you all should start of your day with some G Love and Special Sauce...
Bwahahaha! Hubby Ryan hijacked the post! You all get to listen to "My Baby's Got Sauce" cause my baby does!
OK so its me again, apparently I've "got sauce"....LOL! Enjoy the tune kittens. Sorry for the slightly schizophrenic post here, Ryan and I are bored and feeling goofy

Tuesday's Tune
I found this new artist thanks to those free Itune song cards the Starbucks baristas give you, thank you coffee girl!! I thought it would be a fitting song/video for this week as Vancouver has been hit with a fair amount of the white stuff. That and her voice, OH MY GOD! It makes me want to curl up with a hot cup of tea, a granny blanket, and my katz on my comfy couch, staring out the window, watching the world go by. Ahhhhhh the beauty of doing nothing.
The little ritual she does toward the end of the video reminds me of my time spent at the Ashram in the Kootneys. It had snowed that night, HEAVY. I wrote a letter to myself on a painful topic, walked outside, found a quite moonlit spot in the snow...and I set the letter on fire. Letting it go. As I watched it smolder and burn a family of deer walked by me. It was a truly magical and healing moment.

Tuesday Tunes: The Best Music Videos Addition
This is the last Tuesday Tunes post for a few weeks as I turn my attention over to a new blog feature: Tattoo Tuesdays! More info on that coming soon, but for now...in honor of this being the last Tuesday Tunes for a bit I wanted to share with you a few of what are in my opinion the best music videos out there!
This video has Christopher Walken busting a groove, how can you go wrong!? Not only is it a great song but this video just cracks me up everytime I watch it.
Ramona Falls makes some of the most creative music videos I have ever seen. This one in particular is a musical work of art
Although an old song/video "Just" by Radiohead will always be on my top 5 list of all time best music videos. I remember when this first came out when I was a teenager and all of the theories circling around as to what the guy says at the end...never did figure that one out
Now I know Rammstein isnt for everyone, but I do love me some heavy music from time to time and this music video is EPIC! Snow White with a twist, trust me just watch! STUNNING!
And to end on a completely different note we have Bjork and "It's Oh So Quiet", this video always makes me happy. It is colorful and full of energy!
And just for fun I had to toss this one in:
Don't forget to scroll down and check to see if you won the "Beloved" give away!

I am madly in love with the band Diamond Rings. His voice is so emo 80's cool it makes me feel like back combing my hair again. And the video? It is so awkwardly tacky, this is love man. This is love!
This next video is a total random treat for you all, but seriously it is pretty bad ass. Now this is freaking TALENT!
This next one is quite possibly my new favorite music video, I just love how raw it is

Musical Chicken Soup for the Soul on a Rainy Day
It has been raining here, a lot. And when I say a lot I really mean it. It is gray and wet and cold and I am sick of it and looking forward to spring! I have always been affected by the weather, and as much as I love Vancouver I hate being sopped in by rain/clouds/fog/gray. So lately I have been watching this video A LOT as it is all about SUNSHINE! Glorious, wonderful, positive, happy sunshine! And I think we can all use that from time to time. So for this weeks "Tuesday Tunes" it is just one video, one song, by one artist. I hope it will inspire you to live your day a little bit more positively and put a bounce in your step. It always works for me.
I am posting this the night before, after coming home from a long wet and thoughtful walk in the rain. Im cooking up some Cambells Tomato soup and recalling a time when I was so poor that I lived off the stuff for a month. Breakfast, lunch and dinner its no joke. You would think Id hate the stuff, but I dont. It is chicken soup for my soul, reminding me to be grateful for the little things. Like warm soup in my belly. What little things are you thankful for?
PS: If yall are getting sick of the Franti videos I apologize...I am obsessed! But I really do believe he is good for the soul!\
Peace, love and pickles my darlings
