Now I know normally this blog is full of crafty, happy, light hearted fun...and I like it that way. I like to make people smile and to bring joy into a world that, lets face it, can be full of a lot of sorrow. But I don't walk around with a blindfold on either. I have a political side, I have an "agenda" if you want to call it that. I am 100% feminist through and through, have the degree in Women's Studies to boot! I may not be as politically charged as I was when I was younger, but I still care. I still read and educate myself, lately it has been more focused on womens health care issues, specifically around empowering the birth experience for obvious reasons. But every so often I come across a true gem. Something that strikes such a deep feeling in me, that reminds me as to why I am a feminist, why I got my degree in what I did, and makes me grateful for the strong women AND MEN in my life. This video is one of those things. I think everyone should see this video, but in particular our boys need to see this video. Our boys and our men need to watch this video together, so we can raise a new generation of men, of leaders, of caring people. We need to teach our boys that it is more "manly" to be yourself, to be a good man, a loving husband, a caring friend....please watch this video
