Enter to WIN an Au Fait Mamma Nursing Top!

I love breastfeeding, LOVE IT! But what I don't love is trying to find something comfortable to breastfeed in, one that makes the ta-ta's easily accessible. I am constantly on the search for new ideas for breastfeeding apparel. We milk-mamma's shouldn't have to always wear stretched out V-neck shirts or button down blouses. Breastfeeding can be functional AND fashionable!

Enter Au Fait Mamma, a Vancouver based company owned by Joshana McMahon a fellow milk-mamma who desired something more than just the snap down basic nursing tank top. Tired of hiking up her clothing and after stretching out the neckline of yet another shirt to feed her child, she dreamed of a nursing top with an elastic neckline. A shirt that would keep its shape after countless pulls and yanks from hungry, chubby little baby hands. Using her background as a graduate of the Helen Lefeaux School of Fashion Design, she created a line of comfortable tops made from a soft and stretchy bamboo material. The neckline has memory stretch to it, simply pull down to nurse and the top will forever retain its fashionable shape...GENIUS! Because of its soft, stretchy material it can also be worn as a maternity shirt. From pregnancy to breastfeeding, Au Fait Mamma has you covered!

Joshana was kind enough to donate two of her Nurture tops, one for me to wear and review, and the other TO GIVE AWAY! Hooray! I love being able to score amazing swag for my readers. But first, let me review this item for you.

Let me start of by saying that I love the cut, fit, style and color of this shirt. It is very comfortable and the soft bamboo fabric feels wonderful against my skin. It has a longer length to it than the average t-shirt, which is perfect for postpartum moms adjusting to a new body. The last thing I want is my muffin top hanging out while I bend over to scoop Claire up off a play mat. The stretchy fabric is flattering to the hips- I enjoyed layering with this top for a more funky look.

As far as the practicalities- nursing in this shirt is a dream come true! If you are like me and your cups run a bit on the large size then you know how little support is in a nursing tank top. I will often have to wear a nursing bra underneath a nursing tank top....that is a LOT of straps and clips! It's not only annoying, it is simply not fashionable. With this top you can wear a supportive nursing bra and not have any other straps or clips to deal with. I am also prone to plugged milk ducts so the less binding clothing I have to wear around my bust the better!

Not having to yank up my shirt to feed Claire is also a HUGE bonus as I like to carry her in my Ergo pretty much everywhere I go. This is one of my favorite tops to wear with the Ergo as I can easily feed her while still in the carrier by just pulling down on the neckline.

Now, on to the fun part! The part you have all be waiting for...a chance to win your own Nurture Shirt! This shirt retails at $72, well worth the investment, but what a great thing to WIN FOR FREE! There are 5 chances to win, with the opportunity to enter your name into the draw 7 TIMES!
