Thankfull Thursday: The Good and The Bad

Because gratitude is the best attitude...

This weeks Thankful Thursday post was a hard one for me to write because I am not in a very chipper, happy, or optomistic mood at the moment. But as I say each and every week, gratitude is the best attitude, and I am trying to look on the bright side. So despite the news that my placenta is still too low and this may interfere with my desire to birth naturally (I am still teary as I type and am too emotional to talk about this in much detail right now) I am focusing on the postive things I can take away from this midwife appointment. So on that note I am thankful for one thing this week and one thing only: A healthy, happy, wriggly, squirmy, perfect bundle of life that is growing inside of me. I am thankful for my child

  1. Just found your blog via Maxabella. Love it - the look, your style, everything.
This is a great thankful for. Whatever happens in pregnancy, if you end up with a healthy baby, you're doing just fine. I had to have an emergency caesarian with my second son, and while I was upset to have a caesar, when he was born all 4 pounds, 1 ounce, I was just happy to have him alive.
Make sure you rest, and hope to visit you again soon in blogland.

  2. Thank you for sharing your story with me, and you are right. I am sure once I see my babe all that will matter is that they are healthy, happy and out and in my arms! This wee lil one will come into the world the way it chooses.

  3. I don't have experience myself, but of course when it comes down to that or the health of that beautiful little one growing inside, there is no question. No matter what you have a gorgeous little man or lady in there that is going to be loved so much, and is going to love you so much in return. As long as she or he comes out in the best way for them, you have something so amazing to look forward to... you and Ryan, Mummhy and Daddy to a little bundle of joy! Love ya hun xo.

  4. You can't be happy clappy everyday, you need off days to appreciate the blissful days. I am so pleased that all is well with your baby, your bump looks gorgeous.
